Add Page Numbers — Bottom Center

Add simple, centered page numbers at the bottom of every page in your PDF. This is the most common and universally accepted page numbering style — a clean number centered in the bottom margin of each page. The format uses just the page number (1, 2, 3...) without any prefix or suffix, keeping the appearance minimal and professional. Ideal for reports, essays, manuscripts, contracts, and any document that needs straightforward pagination.

FAQ

Can I start numbering from a page other than 1?
Yes. Change the starting number field to begin at any number. This is useful when your PDF is part of a larger document — for example, starting at page 15 if this is chapter 2 of a book. You can also skip the first page (like a title page) using the Skip First Page option.
Will the numbers appear on top of existing content?
Page numbers are placed in the bottom margin area, which is typically empty space below the main content. If your document has content extending to the very bottom of the page, you may want to adjust the font size to ensure the numbers don't overlap.
Can I change the font size?
Yes. Use the font size slider to adjust between 6pt and 24pt. The default 12pt works well for most documents. Use smaller sizes for dense documents and larger sizes for presentations or documents that will be viewed on screen.
