FAQ

How is the total page count determined?
The total is automatically calculated from the number of pages in your PDF. If you have a 25-page document, each page will show "1 of 25", "2 of 25", and so on. If you skip the first page, the total still reflects all pages in the document.
Why use "X of Y" format for legal documents?
Many legal and compliance standards require page numbering that confirms document completeness. The "1 of 10" format proves no pages are missing — if you receive pages 1 through 10, each marked "of 10", you know you have the complete document. This is required for many court filings and contracts.
Can I change the format text?
Yes. You can select from several built-in formats including plain numbers, "Page X", "X of Y", "Page X of Y", and "- X -". Choose the format dropdown to see all available options and select the style that matches your document's requirements.
