Add Draft Watermark to PDF
Mark your PDF as a draft with a clear, professional watermark. This preset places a large "DRAFT" text diagonally across every page at 30% opacity. It's the standard way to indicate a document is not yet final — protecting you from accidental distribution of unfinished work. Commonly used for contracts under review, reports awaiting approval, proposals in progress, and any document that hasn't been finalized.

FAQ
What's the difference between draft and confidential watermarks?▾
A "DRAFT" watermark indicates the document is not yet finalized and may change. A "CONFIDENTIAL" watermark indicates the document contains sensitive information with restricted access. Use "DRAFT" during the review and approval process, and "CONFIDENTIAL" for sensitive documents regardless of their completion status.
Can I add a draft watermark to specific pages only?▾
Yes. After uploading your PDF, you can switch from "All Pages" to "Custom Range" and specify which pages should receive the watermark. This is useful when only certain sections of your document are in draft status while others are finalized.
Is the watermark applied to both text and image content?▾
The watermark is overlaid on top of the entire page, covering both text and image areas. At 30% opacity, all content beneath the watermark remains fully readable while the DRAFT status is clearly indicated. You can adjust the opacity slider for more or less visibility.
