FAQ
Can I convert any webpage to PDF?▾
Most publicly accessible web pages can be converted. Pages that require login, use heavy JavaScript rendering, or block automated access may not convert fully.
Will the PDF look exactly like the webpage?▾
The PDF captures the page as rendered by a headless browser. Most content looks identical. Some dynamic elements (animations, video) are captured as static snapshots.
Is the webpage URL stored?▾
No. The URL is used only for the conversion request. It is not stored, logged, or shared after the PDF is generated.
Can I convert a page that requires login?▾
No. The conversion server fetches the URL as an anonymous visitor. Pages behind authentication walls will show the login screen or an access denied page.
What about pages with cookie consent banners?▾
Cookie banners and popups may appear in the PDF since the page is rendered without user interaction. You can crop or remove those sections afterward using the PDFlys editor.
